Ladies and gentlemen,
It is with great honour and joy that we invite you to the 33rd Scientific Congress of Hellenic Medical Students (SCHMS) and the 21st Forum of Medical Students & Junior Doctors with International Participation, to be held in Patras on 23–25 April 2027, at the Conference & Cultural Center of the University of Patras.
For more than three decades, SCHMS has been an institution that brings together medical students, junior doctors and scientists, creating a space for the sharing of knowledge and the exchange of ideas.
This year, Patras takes on the hosting of this institution for the fourth time. Receiving the baton from the Ioannina Branch, we approach the event with respect for its history, but also with a desire for renewal and creativity, aspiring to offer a distinctive congress experience.
Guided by the aim of maintaining the high scientific standard of previous editions, we are working on a rich, multifaceted programme that will include scientific lectures, live-streamed surgical procedures, innovative workshops and opportunities for meaningful interaction with distinguished scientists from Greece and abroad. In parallel, the 31st Olympiad of Medical Knowledge, original competitions and cultural activities will strengthen the interactive and experiential character of the Congress.
Our vision is for the 33rd SCHMS and the 21st Forum to leave every participant with something more than new knowledge, offering stimuli, experiences and human connections that will be a source of inspiration and accompany them in their next steps in Medicine.
It is with joy, then, that we invite you to share three days of knowledge, new experiences and beautiful moments!
